Dear Readers,
*Note: Nominations already made for 28,699 candidates as on 19th January 2018 and nominations for 19,553 candidates are likely be issued by 31st January 2018.
Here, SSC is with the note that in Tier-III of CGLE 2016 Exam, 1.46% i.e. 484 candidates violated the mandatory instructions of the examination thus assigning Zero marks for themselves in strict conformity for being nonchalant regarding the rule. Some of these defaulting candidates approached the CAT and got relief for having their answer books evaluated but this occurred after the declaration of the result of the said exam by which time, the Commission had recommended successful candidates against all reported vacancies. To sort out all the still remaining issues, the Commission will file an appeal in High Court in the last week of January 2018 and appointment letters to the successful candidates would be issued in February 2018.
The Commission has conducted 18 open competitive exams since January 2016 and 9 for recruitment to Selection Posts, the results of 15 have already been declared and results of remaining 12 examinations are to be declared within the next 6 months. Basically SSC is all set to conduct the exams and declare the results in time once the case is resolved completely which is expected to be soon.
Note: There will be no JE paper-I examination on 26th and 28th January 2018.
