Dear Students , Odisha Staff Selection Commission has released the recruitment notification for the post of Sub Inspector police, Sub Inspector police(Armed), Assistant Jailor and Station Officer (Fire Service) on contractual basis.

Total No. of Posts: 218

• Sub Inspector police: 184
• Sub Inspector police(Armed): 20
• Assistant Jailor: 4
• Station Officer (Fire Service): 10

The women candidates are eligible for the post of S.I. of Police and Assistant Jailor.

Pay Scale:
Consolidated pay of Rs.9300/- + Grade Pay Rs.4200/- in the scale of pay of Rs.9300/- to 34,800/- & Grade Pay Rs.4200/- (pre revised)

Age Limit:

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 25 years

Age Limit as on 01st January 2017 

Application Fees: Rs.100/-

• SC/ST: No Fee

Selection process:

Selection will be based on Preliminary Exam/ Physical Test/ Main Written Exam & Viva-cum-Psychological Test.
