Finance Commission
Finance Commission of India is established by President of India as per Article 280 of the Constitution.
(संविधान के अनुच्छेद 280 के अनुसार भारत के वित्त आयोग की स्थापना भारत के राष्ट्रपति द्वारा की गई है)
Article 280: President should within two years of commencement of the constitution and thereafter on expiry of every 5th year, or at such intervals as he/she thinks necessary, would constitute a finance commission.
(अनुच्छेद 280: राष्ट्रपति को संविधान के प्रारंभ के दो वर्षों के भीतर और उसके बाद हर 5 वीं वर्ष की समाप्ति पर, या ऐसे आवश्यक अंतरालों पर, जैसा वे आवश्यक समझें, वित्त आयोग का गठन करेगा)
The first finance commission was constituted in 1951.
