1.Defer (verb)-टालना, आस्थगित करना
Meaning: put off (an action or event) to a later time; postpone.

2.Aftermath (noun)-परिणाम
Meaning: the consequences or after-effects of a significant unpleasant event.

3.Metaphor (noun)-रूपक, उपमा
Meaning: a figure of speech in which a word or phrase is applied to an object or action to which it is not literally applicable.
Synonyms: figure of speech, figurative expression, image, trope, allegory, parable, analogy, comparison, symbol, emblem, word painting.
Example: She was concerned about the new metaphors and attitudes that had infected them.
4.Flabbergast (verb)-हैरत में डालना
Meaning: surprise (someone) greatly; astonish.
Synonyms: astonish, astound, amaze, surprise, startle, shock, take aback, take by surprise.
Example: He said, “I have to tell you something. I was one of them. I joined the crowd during the riots. What should I do?” I was flabbergasted and yet impressed by the honesty of the man.
5.Facade (noun)-मुखौटा, दिखावा
Meaning: 1.the principal front of a building, that faces on to a street or open space.
Synonyms: front, frontage, face, aspect, elevation, exterior, outside
Meaning: 2.a deceptive outward appearance.

6.Suppression (noun)-दमन
Meaning: the action of suppressing something such as an activity or publication.
Synonyms: subduing, defeat, conquering, vanquishing, repression, crushing, quelling, quashing, squashing, stamping out, crackdown, clampdown, cowing, prevention, extinction.
Example: These riots were also exterminist in nature. They sought the elimination rather than suppression of an ethnic group.
7.Poignant (adjective)-मार्मिक
Meaning: evoking a keen sense of sadness or regret.
Synonyms: touching, moving, sad, saddening, affecting, pitiful, piteous, pitiable, pathetic, sorrowful, mournful, tearful, wretched, miserable, bitter, painful, distressing, disturbing, heart-rending, heartbreaking, tear-jerking, plaintive, upsetting, tragic.

8.Gregarious (adjective)-झुण्ड में रहनेवाला, सुसमाजवादी
Meaning: (of a person) fond of company; sociable.
Synonyms: sociable, social, company-loving, companionable, convivial, clubbable.
Example: He is a gregarious character who loves discussion. His wife told me that every time he went for a walk in Gandhinagar, bureaucrats in the park shied away from him.
9.Stigma (noun)-कलंक
Meaning: a mark of disgrace associated with a particular circumstance, quality, or person.
Synonyms: shame, disgrace, dishonour.
