Meaning: (of a feeling or atmosphere) so intense as to seem almost tangible.
Synonyms: perceptible, perceivable, visible, noticeable, appreciable, discernible, detectable, observable, tangible, recognizable, notable, unmistakable, transparent.
Example: “For all the killing and beheading they do on the LoC (Line of Control), we thrashed them so badly on the cricket field yesterday,” my Uber driver told me, with a palpable tinge of pride in his voice, the morning after the Indian cricket team won the ICC Champions Trophy match against Pakistan on June 4.
2.Moratorium (noun)
Meaning: a temporary prohibition of an activity.
Synonyms: embargo, ban, prohibition, suspension, postponement, stay, stoppage, halt, freeze, standstill, respite, hiatus, delay, deferment, deferral, adjournment.
Example: After the GEAC approved Bt brinjal for commercial production, the then Environment Minister, Jairam Ramesh, placed a moratorium after undertaking extensive public consultation.

Meaning: widespread destruction.

Example: The widespread havoc that chemical pesticides and fertilizers have caused since the Green Revolution only adds credence to these concerns.
4.Undecipherable (adjective)
Meaning: (of speech or writing) not able to be read or understood.
Synonyms: illegible, unreadable, hard to read, indistinguishable, indiscernible, unclear, indistinct
Example: The leaders are unrecognisable, and specific causes undecipherable.
5.Imbroglio (noun)
Meaning: an extremely confused, complicated, or embarrassing situation.

7.Biblical (adjective)
Meaning: relating to or contained in the Bible.

8.Impetuousness (adjective)
Meaning: Acting or done quickly with little or inadequate thought.
Synonyms: impetuous, hasty, headlong, precipitate
Example: DONALD TRUMP rules over Washington as if he were a king and the White House his court. His displays of dominance, his need to be the centre of attention and his impetuousness have a whiff of Henry VIII about them.
9.Orthodoxy (noun)
Meaning: authorized or generally accepted theory, doctrine, or practice.
Synonyms: doctrine, belief, conviction, creed, dogma, credo, theory, view, idea, tenet, teaching, practice, received wisdom, article of faith.
Example: Just as dangerous, and no less important to ordinary Americans, however, is Mr Trump’s plan for the economy. It treats orthodoxy, accuracy and consistency as if they were simply to be negotiated away in a series of earth-shattering deals.
10.Compliance (noun)
Meaning: the action or fact of complying with a wish or command.
