The prelims exam of IB ACIO for the recruitment for 1430 post took place in a single shift today. With the help of our students and aspirants, we manage to gather enough information about the exam. According to the information collected from the sources, we get to know that the exam was not as easy as expected. The General Awareness section was a tough call. Students were expected to attempt 100 questions in 60 minutes and they felt the shortage of time.

The questions were moderate to difficult. Order and ranking which is considered an easy topic was not that easy in this exam. The exam had various types of questions. Some of them were easy and some were difficult. The ideal attempt for this section is 19 to 23 questions

Quantitative Aptitude
This section was time consuming. Questions of number series, speed time and distance, interest required aspirants to just use the tricks to solve. Questions were lengthy and tricky and some students were panicked to see this section. It was not expected that this was would consume a lot of time and energy of the students. Time and work question was based on the Garrison Concept which was easy.

General Awareness
This section covered the current affairs of last six months and had moderate to few difficult questions. Computer questions were difficult as they were beyond the basics of computer concepts. Polity, Ecology and Economics questions were conceptual. Students who had already read these subjects at Graduation level did not face difficulty but those who did not have clear concepts were trapped.

Except synonyms/antonyms the section was easy to moderate. Idioms, one word substitution and fillups were easy to do. Grammar was not difficult. Overall this section gave a sigh of relief to the aspirants who were burdened by the difficult questions of other sections
