UPSC Engineer Recruitment 2017:

Union Public Service Commission has released notification for Engineering Service Examination 2018. Total 558 vacancies has declared for the Post of Engineers. This is a great opportunity for the engineering graduate to get a government job. In this article, we are providing age limit, educational qualification, exam pattern, application fee, etc.

Last Date to Apply Online: 23rd October 2017 (till 6:00 PM)
Date of Preliminary(Stage-I) Examination: 7th January 2018

Note:   The number of vacancies is liable to alteration.

Age Limit:
  • Minimum Age: 21
  • Maximum Age: 30
Age will be calculated as on 1st August 2018.

Educational Qualification:
  • Candidates must be obtained a degree in Engineering from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India
For Indian Naval Armament Service (Electronics Engg. Posts)  ‐  M.Sc. degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communication Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject.
For Indian Radio Regulatory Service – M.Sc. degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communication Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject or Master’s Degree in Science with Physics and Radio Communication or Electronics or Telecommunication as a special subject.

UPSC Engineering Exam Pattern:

The exam will contain 3 stages:
  • Stage-I: Preliminary Exam
  • Stage-II: Mains Exam
  • Stage-III: Personality Test

Application Fee:
Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST/ PH who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/‐ either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India. 
Note: "Pay by cash" mode option will be deactivated at 23.59 hours of 22.10.2017 i.e. one day before the closing date.
