2.Prognostication (noun)
Meaning: the action of prophesying future events., a prophecy.
Synonyms: prediction, forecast, prophecy, divination, prognosis, projection;

Russia is now promoting the idea of talks by playing up the idea of the larger threat of the Islamic State that has emerged in eastern Afghanistan in Nangarhar province though this has failed to carry much traction with the Afghan authorities.

6.Notoriously (adverb)
Meaning: used to emphasize that a quality or fact, typically a bad one, is well known.

9.Implication (noun)
Meaning: the conclusion that can be drawn from something although it is not explicitly stated.

Chinese activity has steadily increased in the area beneath Bhutan’s claim-line, pushing the area under its de facto control about 5 km southwards, towards a crucial ridge-line. This has a number of implications.

10.Repudiation (noun)
Meaning: rejection of a proposal or idea., denial of the truth or validity of something.
