Directions (Q.6-10): Study the following information carefully and answer the given questions.
When a word and number arrangement machine is given an input line of words and numbers, it arranges them following a particular rule. The following is an illustration of input and rearrangement. (All the numbers are two-digit numbers.)
Input : 35 doll 65 hen river 71 23 addition 89 man 47 tiger
Step I : 35 doll 65 hen river 71 addition man 47 tiger 23 89
Step II : doll 65 hen river addition man 47 tiger 23 89 35 71
Step III: doll hen river addition man tiger 23 89 35 71 47 65
Step IV: doll hen river man 23 89 35 71 47 65 addition tiger
Step V : hen man 23 89 35 71 47 65 addition tiger doll river
Step VI : 23 89 35 71 47 65 addition tiger doll river hen man
Step VI is the last step of the given arrangement as the intended output of the arrangement is obtained. As per the rules followed in the given steps, find the appropriate steps for the given input.
Input:53 nutrition noise 81 normal 37 19 nuclear 75 network 96 nerve

6. What is the position of ‘37’ in step IV?

Question (6-10): Input: 53 nutrition noise 81 normal 37 19 nuclear 75 network 96 nerve
Step I : 53 nutrition noise 81 normal 37 nuclear 75 network nerve 19 96
Step II : 53 nutrition noise normal nuclear 75 network nerve 19 96 37 81
Step III : nutrition noise normal nuclear network nerve 19 96 37 81 53 75
Step IV : noise normal nuclear network 19 96 37 81 53 75 nerve nutrition
Step V : noise normal 19 96 37 81 53 75 nerve nutrition network nuclear
Step VI : 19 96 37 81 53 75 nerve nutrition network nuclear noise normal
6). In step IV, ‘37’ is 6th from the right end.
Answer: B

7. If ‘nerve’ is related to ‘96’ in step-III and ‘81’ is related to ‘75’ in step-IV and in the same way, which of the following is related to ‘nutrition’ in step-V?
7). In step-III, 96 is second to the right of nerve.
In step-IV, 75 is second to the right of 81.
In step-V, nutrition is second to the right of 75.
Hence, the answer is 75.
Answer: A

8. Which of the following step is the last but one?
8). There are six steps needed to complete the given arrangement. So last but one (the previous step of last step) is step-V.
Answer: D
