SSC CGL 2017 - New Exam Pattern for Tier 1, 2, 3

Hello readers,

SSC CGL has changed the exam pattern for Tier I, II and III. 

Major Modifications

• Both Tier I and Tier II exams will be conducted online.
• The time allotted for Tier I has been reduced to 60 minutes from 75 minutes.
• Time limit for Tier II will be the same.
• An offline description paper of 100 marks to be attempted in 60 minutes has been introduced.

Exam Pattern

The exam will be organised in four tiers as mentioned below:
Tier I: Online Examination (200 Marks)
Tier II: Online Examination  (400 Marks)
Tier III: Descriptive Paper in English/Hindi (100 Marks)

Tier IV:  Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test/ Document Verification
