Andra Pradesh = 160 – 60 = 100
Karnataka = 130 – 90 = 40
Kerala = 180 – 120 = 60
Tamil Nadu = 90 – 30 = 60
Telangana = 40 – 20 = 20
Cost is second lowest in Karnataka.
Answer is: b)

Answer is: e)
3).Cost of 1 kg Bananas from Telangana and Karnataka together : Cost of 1kg Mango from Kerala and Tamil Nadu together
= (40 + 130) : (90 + 190)
= 170 : 280
Answer is: d)
4).Cost of 3 kgs Bananas for Kalam = 3 × 130 = 390
Cost of 2 kgs Water Melons for Kalam = 2 × 90 = 180
Total cost that Kalam pay = 390 + 180
Answer is: c)
5).Total cost of 45 kgs Mango from Tamil Nadu
= 45 × 190 = 8550
After discount 4% Laxman paid
= 8550 – (8550 × 4)/100
Answer is: a)
6).Richa’s amount in 2016 becomes

10).Let Karun invest Rs x in Tata Company.
Therefore, in Reliance Company his investment would be Rs (40000 - x).
13.5% of x + 13% of (40000 – x) = 5299 or,
13.5x/100 + 13/100 × 40000 – 13x/100 = 5299
or, (13.5x - 13x)/100 + 5200 = 5299
or, 0.5x/100 = 5299 – 5200 = 99
= x = 9900/0.5
= Rs 19800
