So, Finally, the Bank of Baroda PGDCF exam is over now and many of you are in dilemma that how was their overall performance in the exam and what can be the cutoff. If we talk about the level of exam it was easy to moderate.
Reasoning asked was easy and there was nothing like new pattern in this particular section. Questions asked were from Alpha series, Direction, Blood relation. There were 3 puzzles (Linear, Circular, and Floor) of two variables and also, 1 set of Input- Output of five questions. Talking about quantitative aptitude there was 4 DI among which 2 were very calculative and 2 were bit easy and like always 5 questions each from inequality, approximation and number series. Rest 15 questions were from a miscellaneous topic like SI, CI, Speed &Time, Profit and Loss, Time and Work, Averages, Ages, Ratio etc. One section that we can say is kind of mix of new and old pattern i.e. English, in which sentence Connector is new pattern and this section is somewhat moderate. There were one set of para jumble and Double fillers ( 5 questions each ), One set of cloze test (10 questions ), and Reading Comprehension ( 12 questions ). General Awareness was moderate and most of the questions are from banking and current affairs also there were 3-4 questions which were in news in 2016. Around 10-12 questions were asked from banking and 4-5 were from static and rest were from current affairs.
If we talk about good attempts it should be around 112-125. Time management is the key to success for every banking exams, one who manage time perfectly in the exam will definitely come up with flying colors. Also, there was a descriptive test in which there was one letter and one easy, and here descriptive plays an important role as this can add up some good marks in your objective score.
