"The combination of Hard and Smart work is necessary for being successful.": Ashish Mathew (Allahabad Bank Clerk)- 161

April 22, 2017

Hello Friends,
Bankers Adda Success Story
My name is Ashish Mathew. I completed my graduation in B.Tech- Mechanical and Automation Engineering for Amity University in the year 2016.

I was placed in Wipro Technologies but by gods grace, they didn't give me joining as soon as my course got over. I started preparing for bank exams from July 2016 and my first exam was SBI clerk where I missed prelims qualification by .25. That was a wake-up call, then I purchased various mock tests and started preparing with full dedication. I used to solve 2 mock daily. This enhanced my speed and I got accustomed with the pattern of the question.
Then I had BOB Manipal and BOM Manipal paper which I couldn't clear as I was 9 and 2 marks short of cutoff respectively, which was quite disappointing. But these exam
failures taught me one thing that to clear any mains exam you need to be exceptionally good in GK. So, I started preparing for GK andbankersadda capsule was my first course of GK and it was of massive help.
Finally, i cleared NABARD assistant prelims, IBPS PO prelims, RRB PO prelims, NIACL prelims and IBPS Clerk prelims.
I gave mains of each exam and awaited the results which were as follows:
1. NABARD - didn't clear
2. NIACL mains - got 83.5
3. RRB PO  - FINAL marks 63.5 ( missed the cutoff of Rajasthan got 94 in the interview).
4. IBPS PO - FINAL marks 38.3
5. IBPS CLERK - Selected for ALLAHABAD BANK.
It was one of the proudest moments for my parents and I thank my sister for all the guidance she gave me and yes it is true I cracked IBPS CLERK with 6 months of fully dedicated preparations.
CRACK SBI PO 2017
