Answer with Detailed Solution:
1). Total number of Banks in 2013 = 50 + 100 + 150 + 225 = 525
Total number of Banks in 2016 = 175 + 250 + 325 + 425 = 1175
Increase = 1175 - 525 = 650
Percentage increase = 650/525 × 100
Answer is: b)
2). Number of Reserve Bank of India and Regional Rural Banks in 2014
= 125 + 200 = 325
Number of Reserve Bank of India and Regional Rural Banks in 2016 = 175 + 250 = 425
Percentage increase = (425 – 325)/325 × 100%
= 100/325 × 100
Answer is: e)
3). Total number of (Reserve Bank of India + Regional Rural Banks + Public Sector Banks) in 2013
= 50 + 100 + 150 = 300
Number of Reserve Bank of India in 2016 = 175
Required ratio = 300: 175
Answer is: c)
4). Total number of banks in 2013 = 525
Total number of banks in 2014 = 75 + 150 + 175 + 250 = 650
Percentage increase = increase/525 × 100 = 125/525 × 100 = 23.8%
Total number of banks in 2015 = 125 + 200 + 250 + 275 = 825
Percentage increase = (825 – 650)/650 × 100
= 175/650 × 100 = 26.92%
Total number of banks in 2016 = 1175
Percentage increase = (1175 – 825)/825 × 100
= 350/825 × 100
Answer is: d)
5). Total number of employees working in (Reserve Bank of India + Regional Rural Banks + Public Sector Banks) in 2016
= 200000 × (10/100 + 15/100 + 30/100)
= 55 × 2000
Average of the number of employees working in (Reserve Bank of India + Regional Rural Banks + Public Sector Banks)
= 110000/3
Employees working in Private Banks in 2016
= 200000 × 45/100 = 90000
Required% = (90000 - 36666.7)/90000 × 100
Answer is: a)
6). Required difference = 300 × 45 % – 200 × 33%
= 135 – 66
= 69 tonnes
Answer is: d)
7). Total amount
= 240000 × 18/100 × 50/(3 × 100)× 45
= 3.24 lakh
Answer is: a)
8). 300 × (18% + 15 %) : 240 (18% + 15 %)
Answer is: c)
9). Exported grapes in 2011 = 200 × 20% × 1/2 = 20 tonnes
 Per tonnes price = 1.4/20
= 140000/20 = 7000
Per tonnes price = 7000 / tonnes
Answer is: b)
10). Required ratio = 300 × 15% : 400 × 75 % × 18%
= 3 × 15 : 4 × 75 × 0.18
Answer is: e)
