First of all a big congratulation to all who have cleared any of the IBPS exams, the results of which were declared on 1 April 2017 which has almost become the National Results Day. A big "thank you" to Bankersadda Team for being with people like "us" in our failures and successes. Keep up the good work. And those very talented students who have not been able to crack the exams, I just want to say please don't get disheartened. Try even harder. There are so many exams coming this year and so there's no time to waste.
Now I want to share my short success story. I never thought I would be able to share one. I myself got lots of inspiration by reading the success stories.
My name is Dona Dev and I belong to Assam. I got selected in "Punjab National Bank as Probationary Officer", "UCO Bank as Assistant" and "Assam Gramin Vikas Bank as Assistant". I started my preparation back in July 2015 after completing my M.Sc. I wasn't very sure what to study but I had some idea. I appeared RBI Assistant exam 2015, IBPS RRB Assistant Exam 2015 and IBPS Clerical exam 2015 and failed in all of them. I didn't apply for the PO exams coz i didn't have the confidence that I can clear PO level exams. In 2016, I gave SBI clerical mains exam but couldn't clear the cutoff. I was very, very sad and at one moment I thought of giving up. I started having doubts on myself whether my this decision of getting into a public sector bank was correct or not and whether I was capable or not. But my parents and some good friends of mine encouraged me to carry on and I carried on. I worked hard and at last they bore fruit.
The exams that I gave:-
RBI Assistant 2015 - FAILED
RRB Assistant 2015 - FAILED
IBPS Clerical Mains 2015- FAILED
SBI Clerical Mains 2016 - FAILED
RRB Assistant 2016 - SELECTED
IBPS PO 2016 - SELECTED
IBPS Clerical 2016 - SELECTED
IPPB PO MAINS 2017 - RESULT AWAITING
