Quant Strategy for SSC CGL 2017

First and foremost, Know your syllabus completely. And strategize your course of action. 
Students, Since all the exams of the SSC are held online, hence you are advised to be familiar with the online format and PRACTICE ONLINE TEST SERIES and free mock tests. It will help you immensely and your dream of getting a job might come true in this year itself. Give your best Shot. DON’T SETTLE, TILL YOU MAKE IT.

The total number of questions in Tier-I- 100. The paper will be of 200 marks with each question carrying 2 marks. The duration of the examination would be 75 minutes.
Tier-I of the examination will comprise four parts
Each part would comprise 25 questions of 50 marks.  0.50 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer
(i)         English Comprehension.
(ii)       General Intelligence & Reasoning
(iii)    General Awareness
(iv)    Quantitative Aptitude

Quantitative Aptitude
Before you start preparing this section, just keep in mind that quant is not only important for Tier I, but also for Tier II. You all know what to do to get good marks in the quant section. You need to practice all the varieties of questions and need to learn some shortcut techniques to solve them. Friends, the syllabus not only includes Arithmetic, but also the Advanced Maths. Let us have a look below:

Important Tips: For quant section, first you need to learn and practice all the basics of maths. Formulas, theorems, and calculation related questions.(Simplification). Once, you have cleared your basic concepts of maths, only then you should start practicing chapter wise questions for all topics. then in the final step of your strategy, you should practice mock tests daily to track your progress. If you face any issues, then go back to concept building process and then again get back to practice.
