My interview was at 8:30 am. I reached the venue at about 8:00 am.
First biometrics was done. Then my documents were verified. I was 3rd to be interviewed. My turn came at about 9:40 am.
Bell rang.
Me: May I come in please (since 4M and 1F)
M1: Yes come in
I wished them good morning. They asked me to be seated.I said thank you, sir.
M1: What is the Alankar within you?
Me: I just smiled
M1: You have done BTech and MTech. This is your Alankar.
M1: Asked about my family details
Me: Answered
M1: Why banking after engineering?
Me: not interested in engineering, etc. (He's not fully satisfied).
M1: Asked some questions about engineering.
Me: Answered some and could not answer the rest.
F1: What do you understand by NRO account?
Me: Answered.
F1: Difference between NRO and NRE account?
Me: Could only answer their full form and did not know anything else.
F1: What do you understand by FCNR (B) account?
Me: answered
M2: What is the difference between public sector banks and nationalised banks?
Me: Answered partially.
M2: How many nationalised banks are there in India?
Me: Sorry Sir I'm not sure (Knew about the number of PSBs )
M3: What is bancassurance?
Me: I thought that he was asking about bank insurance. So I gave him the definition, ending with the words that this is known as bank insurance.
M3: But I'm asking about bancassurance.
Me: Sorry sir I don't know.
M4: Asked about the author of 2 Odia Novels
Me: Sorry Sir I don't know
M4: Who is the Chief Minister and health minister of Odisha?
Me: Mr.Naveen Patnaik is the CM. (Didn't know about the health minister )
M4: All the best Alankar. You may have a chocolate
Me: thank you, sir. ..thank you mam (took the chocolate and left the room)
The interview lasted for about 8-10 minutes. It was either average or bad. Let's wait for the results. Wishing all the readers best of luck for your future endeavours.
