Explosion at nuclear plant in France, no radiation leak
An explosion and fire occurred at the Flamanville nuclear plant in France on Thursday and five people suffered minor injuries due to smoke inhalation, reports said. Adding that there is "no nuclear risk" to the locals, authorities said, "It is a significant technical failure but it is not a nuclear accident". RBI keeps repo rate unchanged at 6.25 per cent

Uber launches UberHIRE in 9 cities

MRI pioneer and Nobel laureate Sir Peter Mansfield passes away at 83
Nobel laureate Sir Peter Mansfield, who developed Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), has died at the age of 83 on Wednesday. Mansfield, an English physicist born in 1933, was a Professor at the University of Nottingham starting from 1964 until 1994, when he retired.
