8). What is the difference between the number of people who like either only Cricket or only Soccer and the number of people who like either only Hockey or only Tennis?

1). D) Average profit of the company “A” during the given period = 45/6 crore = Rs. 7.5 crore.
2). B) Profit of company ‘C’ in year 2010 = Rs.4,50,00,000
Expenditure of company ‘C’ in year 2010 = Rs. 9,40,37,250 – Rs.4,50,00,000 = Rs.4,90,37,250
4). E) Total profit for year:
2009 = Rs.(5.5 + 4.5 + 7) crore = Rs.17 crore
2010 = Rs.(6.5 + 8 + 4.5) crore = Rs.19 crore
2011 = Rs.(7.5 + 4 + 8.5) crore = Rs.20 crore
2012 = Rs.(10 + 8 + 6) crore = Rs.24 crore
2013 = Rs.(7 + 9 + 8) crore = Rs.24 crore
2014 = Rs.(8.5 + 5 + 9.5) crore = Rs.23 crore
5). C) Profit increased of company A over the previous year = 4 times
Profit increased of company B over the previous year = 3 times
Profit increased of company C over the previous year = 3 times
Total = 4 + 3 + 3 = 10
6). B) 15 + 35 + 38 + 16 = 104
7). D) People who like exactly two types of sports = 30 + 20 + 45 + 35 = 130
Total number of people surveyed = 500
% = 130×100/500 = 26%
8). A) Difference = (71+49) – (55+64) = 1
9). B) Req Ratio = 236/64 = 59/64 i.e. 59:16
10). C)People who like exactly one sports = 71 + 55 + 49 + 64 = 239
Total number of people = 500

% = 239×100/500 = 47.8%
