  • Banking on somebody / something - to depend on something happening or on someone doing something
  • Good faith - done in an honest and sincere way

  • Safeguarding - to protect something or someone from being harmed or having problems

  • So-called - used for showing that you think a word used for describing someone or something is not suitable
  • Paralysis - a situation in which you are unable to take action

  • Accord - a formal agreement between countries or groups
  • Emission - the act of sending out gas, heat, light, etc
  • Repercussion - the effect that an action, event, or decision has on something, especially a bad effect
  • Mitigate - to make something less harmful, unpleasant, or bad
  • Inadequate - not good enough or too low in quality
  • Deviation - a difference in the usual or expected way of doing something
  • Implication - a possible effect or result
