Directions (01-07): Read the information given below and answer the questions that follow.
A, B, C, D, E, F and G are seven members ofa family. Each member of the family belongs to a different profession. There is a lawyer, a teacher, a doctor, a singer, an artist, an engineer and a tennis player in the family. All are sitting around a circular table facing the centre of the table.
·        No spouse is sitting together.
·        In the family, there are four generations and three couples. D's son is a doctor whose daughter is C, a singer.
·        The father of tennis player is not sitting next to any male. E and F belong to the same gender and F, the spinster, is a tennis player.
·        A, the eldest person in the family, is a lawyer but the spouse of A is not a teacher.
·        The person who is an artist is sitting second to the right of the father of the person who is a singer.
·        G, who is son-in-law of the teacher, is an engineer. F is daughter of the engineer. The doctor is second to the right of the person who is a spinster.
·        The son-in-law of the doctor is not an immediate neighbour of the tennis player or the doctor.

Directions (Q. 8-12): Study the following information carefully and answers the following questions.
P, Q, R, S, T and U are six members of a group in which there are three female members. Females work in three departments —Account, Administration and HR - and sit on three different floors — Ground floor, first floor and second floor. Person working in the same department are not on the same floor. On each floor two persons work. No two females work in the same department or sit on the same floor. Q and T work in the same department but not in HR. S works in Administration. T and P are on the ground floor and second floor respectively and work in the same department. S, a female does not sit on the first floor. R, a male works on ground floor. U, works on the first floor; and S and P work on the same floor.

Answers with Explanation:
Direction (1 to 7):

Direction (8 to 12):
Q, T - Account/Administration    ... (i)
S(-) - Administration - ground/second   ...(ii)
T works on ground floor.
P works on second floor.
T and P work in the same department  ... (iii)
R(+) - ground floor.
U - first floor.
As only two persons work on each floor. S and P work on the second floor. And Q and U work on the first floor. As no two females work on the same floor, P is male similarly T is female.
From (i) and (iii), it is clear Q, T, P work in the same department. And as no two females work in the same department. Q is male and U is female, as S works in Administration. T works in Account with Q and P.
Now it is clear the U works in HR, Now the table will look as given below.
