My name is Gaurav Sharma. I am from a village in Baghpat District of UP. I have done B.Tech (2014) from BBDIT Ghaziabad in Electronics and Communication Branch. I am a silent follower of Bankers adda.
First of all, I would like to thanks BANKERS ADDA, which helped me a lot in improving my GA section—toughest section for me.
Soon after doing B.Tech I joined a BPO TBSS in noida and worked here for almost 10 months as I don’t want to be dependent of my parents who spend their whole life savings in my studies. After 10 months, I realized that the salary I am getting there is not sufficient for survival in city Noida like. So, I have joined CSC BPO which offered me a handsome salary. I want to join networking sector from there but somehow I was able to diverted my mind towards banking sector. So, I joined a coaching to know about the pattern and guidance regarding banking exams in September 2015. From there my journey started, as I was doing night shifts in CSC so it was not easy to me. I managed my time and started my preparation. I have good maths and reasoning, average English (Somehow manage to clear cut off every time) and Poor GA.
• My very first exam was BMSB 2015 at that time I did not know anything about banking failed in written-68 marks, GA-11, Quants- 4 marks (only got 6 minutes for this section)
• RRB OS1(2015)- Written-78.75 GA-7.75
• IBPS PO (2015)- Pre Written 54.50, Mains – 88.50 Interview -55 (first success in banking exam but was not able to make to final list)
• IBPS Clerk- Pre-72, mains-140 (failed in Written)
• Andhra Bank PO – 115.50, cut off- 120.50 (Failed in Written)
• Syndicate Bank Po- 96 (Failed in Written)
• LIC AAO-138, GA -16 Only, (Failed in Written)
• SBI PO 2016 – Pre- 48, Mains- 108.25/250, GA-13, Interview-25/50 (was failed after interview)
• SBI Clerk- Pre 82, Mains-134.25 from UP (Finally selected)
• BMSB 2016 – Attempted- 164, will get selected
• BOM PO- Attempted-174 Will get selected
• IBPS PO Pre-2016- 56.75 attempts-61
