IBPS RRB V 2016 Pre Officer Scale- I Exam Analysis – 5th November (5th Slot)

Dear Aspirants,

The Preliminary phase of the IBPS RRB Scale – I Exam had started from 04th November 2016. The Second set of the exam is scheduled today. The fifth slot of the exam was scheduled for 05:00 pm – 05:45 pm. We are now going to provide you the analysis of this slot of the exam.

The level of the exam was Moderate.

Pattern of the Exam –

Quantitative Aptitude (40 Questions)

Level –Moderate

(i) Number Series – 5 Questions (Easy to Moderate)

(ii) Approximation/ Simplification – 5 Questions (Easy )

(iii) Data Interpretation (3 Sets) – 15 Questions (Easy to Moderate) (Tabular graph, Pie Chart and Bar graph)

(iv) Quadratic Equation – 5 Questions (Easy)

(v) Miscellaneous Questions – 10 Questions (Moderate)
Miscellaneous questions include – Age, Probability, Partnership, Profit Loss, Average, Boats & Stream, Compound/Simple Interest, Ratio and Proportion, Percentage, Time & Work, etc.

Reasoning Ability (40 Questions)

Level – Easy to Moderate

(i) Syllogism – 5 Questions (Easy)

(ii) Inequality – 5 Questions (Easy)

(iii) Puzzle –  5 Questions (floor based arrangement)

(iv) Seating Arrangement – Square – 5 Questions (Moderate) (8 people sitting in a square arrangement, 4 people sitting on the corner facing outward and 4 people sitting at the centre facing inward)

(v) Linear Seating Arrangement – 5 Questions (people facing North) (Easy)

(vi) Direction – 5 Questions (Easy )

(vii) Blood Relation – 4 questions (Easy)

(viii) Miscellaneous Questions  – 6 Questions (Ranking based, Alphabetical Series)
