Hello Friends,
Today i I get to write my own success story, after a year I started following GradeStack,
Name: Amir Zubair
Qualification: B.Tech ECE
It was in September 2013 when our college placements started and I was selected in the first company which is an IT MNC. It was clear in my conscience that I’ll not be joining it and will prepare for public sector organisations.
Coming to May 2014 my relatives pressurized my parents to send me to the campus job offer and they gave in. I joined in September but soon realized I need to get out of it.
Exams Given:
- SBI PO 2014
- SBI ASSOCIATE PO 2014
- SBI PO 2015
- IBPS PO 2015
- SBI SO 2015
- IBPS SO 2015
Couldn’t clear any of them not even pre though I was always close (I missed IBPS pre by .25 marks). But after analyzing I realized my accuracy was good and wondered how do people attempt so many questions. I started following Gradestack during June 2015.
New year, I was in office 31st night I decided enough is enough and submitted my resignation. Again people started questioning my decision but I was stubborn. Got released in 1st February 2016.
Meanwhile my unemployment tenure showed me true colours of people around me, which in turn made me stronger by the day.
First exam I gave after my release was LIC AAO. I was confident I’ll get through but high cutoff prevented my interview call, I missed it by 3.5 marks.
I studied nicely and improved my speed and concepts. After LIC these are the exams I attempted :
- NABARD GRADE A GRADE B PRELIMS- Qualified didn’t appear for mains.
- CONCOR senior assistant- final selection
- UIIC AO : Final selection
- SBI clerks: I attempted 91/100 got 85. Pre qualified.
- UBI PO PGDBF: Final selection
- SBI PO: Qualified under general category with 89 attempts
I skipped my joining of UBI as well as CONCOR which in it self was a huge risk. But thankfully by god’s grace I got better opportunities. Finally I have decided to go with UIIC AO. Still I believe I am not good enough in GA. My GA attempts have been low eg. I attempted 19 in SBI PO.
Remember accuracy matters and practice will help you achieve it. And regarding strategy, you will have to make it yourself as everyone have different strong and weak areas.
In the end I would like to thank Gradestack for daily quizzes and monthly tornado’s.
Hard work is always rewarded!!
Thanks!!
