Solutions:
As there are 5 questions in each section we have three different cases to be considered.
3 questions from section 1 and 3 questions from section 2
Number of ways = 5C3 x 5C3 = 100
4 questions from section 1 and 2 questions from section 2
Number of ways = 5C4 x 5C2 = 50
2 questions from section 1 and 4 questions from section 2
Number of ways = 5C2 x 5C4 = 50
Therefore, Total number of ways = 100 + 50 + 50 = 200
Total earning of 6 members = 5300 X 6 = 31800
Let avg of 7th member = x
Earning of 7th members = x + 300
(31800 + 300 + x)/7 = x
Earning of 7th member = 5350 + 300 = 5650
After 1st process, milk & water = 9 : 1
After 2nd process milk left = 800 * 9/10 = 720
So, Milk & Water = 720 : 280 = 18 : 7
After 3rd process milk left = 600 * 18/25 = 432
From the given Equation
 X = -1, 46
& y = 6, 4
xy+3y+2x +6 =12
 2xy+6y+4x=12----(i)
2xy+5y+4x=11  ---- (ii)
From eq. (i) --- (ii)
From eq. (i)
(6 – 10):
Destination
Female, M/F, Male
Chandigarh
Female, Male
Delhi(or) Chandigarh
6). d)The sex of C and E is not known.
7). e)None of the combinations is true.
8). e)Four of them may be travelling in car X.
9). b)C is travelling in car Y.
