As you know, recently the Bank of Maharashtra has issued the notification for Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance course specified from the training Institute Manipal Global &/or NIIT-Institute of Finance, Banking & insurance Training Limited a pioneer academic & training institutions.
The online registration starts from 12 August 2016 and ends on 6th September 2016. Many of you will apply and appear for the exam. To beat the competition one should know the exact pattern & detail syllabus of the exam. So, here we are providing you a detailed syllabus & exam pattern of BOM Manipal / NIIT Exam, which will give you insight about the exam process.
Total Number of Posts –
1. For PO – 500 posts – General – 253, OBC – 135, SC – 75, St – 37
2. For Clerk – State wise vacancy – 200 – General -101, OBC – 54, SC – 30, St – 15
Selection Process – for PGD (B&F) course based on:
For Probationary Officer – The selection will be made on the basis of performance in the Online Test, Personal Interview and/or GD.
For Clerk – The selection will be made on the basis of performance in the order of merit in Online Test. The final selection will be based on the category wise merit in written test and subject to other eligibility criteria.
Note: There is no Interview Process for Clerical post.
Duration of the Course –
For Probationary Officer – The duration of the course is 12 months, of which 3 months INTERNSHIP in Bank branches with a monthly stipend of Rs.20000/- during internship.
Programme fee – approximately Rs. 3.14 to Rs.3.50 lakh
For Clerk – The duration of the course is 6 months.
Programme fee – approximately Rs. 1.89 to 1.94 lakh

In Reasoning section questions are asked from different topics which are as follows:
1. Syllogism –

3. Puzzle – Floor based, colurs, cities, etc.

6. Data Sufficiency
7. Coding Decoding
8. Miscellaneous Qs – which includes topics – Blood relation, Ranking, Direction, etc.

II. Quantitative Aptitude:
In Quant section questions are asked from different topics which are as follows:

3. Quadratic Equation
4. Approximation
5. Miscellaneous Questions – which includes – Average, Profit & Loss, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Partnership, Ratio & Proportion, Problem on Ages, etc.

Education Qualification: A graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.
Eligibility criteria – Minimum 18 years & Maximum 28 Years as on 1st August 2016.
