1).According to the question,
From the diagram, it is clear that lovely is facing towards North direction.
Answer: a)
2).According to the question,
From the diagram, it is clear that Madav is facing towards South direction.

From the diagram, it is clear that Sanket is facing towards South direction.
Answer: c)
Directions (Q. 4-6):
According to the given information,
4).E is the middle of H and D
So, HE = ½  × 2 = 1 km
EG = GH + HE = 1 + 1 = 2 km
Answer: c)
5).Required distance = EI =HB = 1 km
Answer: a)
6).Required distance = AF =HG = 1 km
Answer: a)
7).According to the question,
Required distance,
RT = √[(ST)2 + (RS)2] = √[(3)2 + (4)2 ] = √(9+16)
= √25 = 5 ft
Hence, Divyanshi must cover 5 ft to reach starting point.

8).According to the question,
Required distance = AD = BC = 20 m
Point D is in North of point A.
Clearly, Nikil is 20 m in the North of starting point.

9).According to the question,
Required distance,
AF = AG + GF  [AG = BC, GF = DE]
= 30 + 15 = 45m
Since, point F is the end point . hence, point F is 45 m away from starting point and in East direction.

10).According to the question,
Required distance,
AD = √[(AC)2 + (CD)2] = √[(4)2 + (3)2]
= √(16 + 9) = √25 = 5 km
Clearly, point D is in the North- East of point A and is 5 km away from starting point A.
