Theresa May today took over over as Britain's new Prime Minister. Current Prime Minister David Cameron officially stepped down today handing over the reins to Theresa May. She was left as the only contender standing after the withdrawal from the Conservative Party leadership race of Andrea Leadsom, who faced criticism for suggesting she was more qualified to be prime minister because she had children. She is the second woman to hold the position, more than three decades after “Iron Lady” Margaret Thatcher.
