As we all know in SSC exams General Studies played an important role in getting more marks from the cut off. To get well verse with GS you all have to work really hard,as GS is the only subject which cannot be completed in a day, it needs time.
For this, we are starting a new initiative named "Today is the day when?", in which we will post what important events took place in the history of India on the given day.

Chawla died in the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster which occurred on February 1, 2003, when the Space Shuttle disintegrated over Texas during re-entry into the Earth's atmosphere, with the death of all seven crew members, shortly before it was scheduled to conclude its 28th mission, STS-107.

Six language panel were started on the Rs. five denomination. These notes were single sided and the back side could be used for accounting purposes. The six languages were Urdu, Bengali, Telugu, Kaithi, Kannada and Tamil. The paper used for printing was white hand made and moulded.
