The 104th version of the Australian Open Tennis Tournament was held during 18th to 31st January 2016 at Melbourne Park, Victoria, Australia. This is the first Grand Slam tournament of the year. India's Sania Mirza along with her Swis partner Martina Hingis clinched the Women's Doubles title in this tournament by defeating Czech duo Lucie Hradecka and Andrea Hlavackova.
