24th edition of New Delhi World Book Fair begins 

• The 24th edition of New Delhi World Book Fair began at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. It was inaugurated by Union Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Smriti Irani. The message of India-China partnership for the New Delhi Book Fair 2016 is “Renaissance of Civilizations- Understanding through exchanges“. 

Vikas Thapar appointed as Vice President of Micromax  

• Micromax has appointed Vikas Thapar as its Vice-President for Finance. Thapar was executive director at Avocado Management Services. He also has worked with Bharti Airtel, One97 Communications (PayTm) and Morepen Laboratories.
