01. Illicit—A trade that is prohibited by law or prevailing social standards- गैरकानूनी, अवैध 

02. Illiterate—A person who cannot read or write-जो लिख पढ़ नहीं सकता है 

                                   

03. Immigrant—One who settles in another country-जो दुसरे देश में आकर settle हो जाता है

04. Imminent—That is sure to happy-जो तुरन्त एवं निश्चित रूप से होने वाला हो 

05. Immune—Free from infection-रोगों से सुरक्षित 

06. Impervious—A person who remains unmoved and unaffected by other people’s opinions, arguments or suggestions-संवेदनहीन, अप्रभावित 

07. Impostor/Hypocrite—One who pretends to be what he is not-जो वह दिखाता है जो वह है नहीं, पाखंडी, बहुरूपिया 

08. Impracticable—That which cannot be practiced-जिसे व्यवहार में नहीं लाया जा सके  

09. Impunity—Exemption from punishment, Without risk of punishment-सजा नहीं मिलने की स्थिति 

10. Inaudible—A sound that cannot be heard-ऐसी ध्वनि जो सुनाई न पड़े
