RBI GRADE 'B' OFFICERS SCALE UPLUGGED

Dear BA'ians,
With 3 weeks to go for the RBI Grade B Office Phase I. Many of you though very positive and focused, are a little confused as to how to go about preparing for the Phase I examination "what all topics would it cover", "What would be the cutoff", "Which books to refer to", so on and so forth.
Well no need to worry , we will break the whole syllabus down for you in the simplest form possible.

First things first, the subjects that are covered in the Phase I:

GENERAL AWARENESS:
Since most of you appearing for RBI exam have given IBPS PO, hence are aware of what all comes for GK and banking awareness.The syllabus is very much similar to other banking exams. The topics which are likely to be covered are as follows:

  • Monetary policy of RBI

  • Name of banking related Committees and their focus areas
  • Basel Norms

  • National income concepts like GDP,etc
  • Inflation Concepts
  • Economic Planning
  • Go through basic economic terms and concepts.
  • Also refer to RBI website, in the website there is a tab by the name "publications", go through those articles and if at all you do not understand any term then use google for the .
