IBPS PO Mains 2015 Second Shift - Exam Analysis

Dear BA’ians
So the big day has arisen, all your preparations from the past 1 month have been tested as the IBPS Mains exam is over now. The pattern was same as it was asked in the first shift.


This was the first time that the Mains exam has been conducted. The mains exam is of 200 questions comprises of 5 sections which includes, Mathematics, Reasoning, English, GA & Computer.
Overall the exam was difficult just like the morning shift mainly due to the difficulty of Mathematics and Reasoning Section.
Out of the 5 sections, the most difficult section was Reasoning & the most scoring section was Computers and General Awareness.

Computer was bit easy and includes the basics, so can help to boost up your score. Many questions were mainly from the compendium which was presented by BA.
General Awareness
1. The overall section was moderate and mainly the questions were from Current Affairs, Banking Awareness and some questions were from Static Part.
2. Most importantly, the questions were mainly from GA Capsule.
3. RBI and related schemes
4. International Organisations.
5. Basic Banking was limited to this time.


Personality test
The personality test was divided into 2 parts -
1. Part A- 76 questions
2. Part B- 60 questions.
(Agree, Disagree, Strongly agree and strongly disagree)
Time - 45 minutes
