May 8, 2015

Dear Readers,

Following Bank of Maharashtra and Central Bank of India's earlier notification, Punjab National Bank has cancelled the allotment of Jat Candidates under OBC Quota, As per our earlier prediction Jat candidates have been denied the allotment in the OBC candidates in nine northern states of Bihar, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and National Capital Territory of Delhi.

The decision of giving the OBC status to Jat candidates was set aside and quashed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court, vide its judgement dated 17.03.20152015 in WP (Civil) no. 274/2014 titled Ram Singh & Others Vs Union of India.

NOTICE -
Jat candidates who have attained enough marks to clear the unreserved category will not be a part of this decision. Jat candidates who have score above the cut off marks of 49.6 will be a part of this recruitment cycle.

Disclaimer: Decision of rest of the Banks might be the same. But we advice you wait for the official notification to come by the individual banks.
