Hi all,
This is Samar. I’m writing this to share my success story. Those who define success by getting jobs will be disappointed by this post. So, you want to know how many jobs I got. The answer is zero. Then why I’m writing this story and saying as a success story. It’s coz Success is a journey, not a destination. Success means that you don’t stop trying.
2014 was the year when I started facing government exams. I decided to do it my own. I had not joined any coaching class as I felt self-study was the best option for me. I appeared in just 3 exams in last 6 months. Result of which are
- IBPS PO: 114 written, 39 interview : 53.4 Not cleared
- IBPS clerk: 140 written, 60 interview : 68 Not cleared (Cut-off 69)
- SBI Associate PO: Written cleared, Not selected finally.
Instead of whining about my results, I decided not to give up. We don’t know what’s around the corner. Things in life can change very quickly.
For those who are selected:
Congrats !!
I’ve only one thing to say to you, Be Humble. Humbling yourself is the biggest component of self- improvement. I’ve seen some of the selected candidates laughing at those who are not selected. You don’t know everyone’s life story, please keep this in mind.
For those who are not selected:
Always remember, Failures aren’t people who fail. Failures are people who feel sorry for themselves instead of going back to drawing board with the lessons they have learnt. Focus on now instead of lingering on the uncontrollable. The past is history and future is mystery.
While the beginning of your story has been written in permanent ink, you’re still the author in full control of how it ends.
You can always start over, whether you believe it or not. Past doesn’t equal to the future. Because you failed yesterday; or all today; or a moment ago; or the last six months; the last twenty five years of life, doesn’t mean anything.
All that matters is what are you going to do right now?
