Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has released recruitment notice for 831 vacancies for Upper Subordinate Services (P.C.S.) and Assistant Conservator of Forest (A.C.F.)/ Range Forest Officer (R.F.O.) Last Date for Receipt of Examination Fee in the Bank : 2nd August 2018

Last Date for Submission of Application : 6th August 2018

Total Number of Vacancy: 831

Age Limit:

Minimum Age: 21 years

Maximum Age: 40 years

Crucial date for determining the age limit will be 1st July 2018  (they must have not been born earlier than 2nd July 1978 and not later than 1st July 1997.)

Pay Scale:

Assistant conservator of Forest:

Rs. 15600/- to Rs. 39100/-, Grade Pay- Rs. 5400/-, Group “B”, Gazetted.

Range Forest Officer:

Rs. 9300/- to Rs. 34800/-, Grade Pay – Rs.4800/-, Group “B”, Gazetted.

Educational Qualification:

• The candidates must possess Bachelor's Degree from a University established by law in India or equivalent qualification upto the last date for receipt of On-Line application.

Unreserved / Other Backward Class

• Exam fee Rs. 100/- + On-line processing fee Rs. 25/- 
• Total = Rs. 125/-

Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe

• Exam fee Rs. 40/- + On-line processing fee Rs. 25/- 
• Total = Rs. 65/-

Handicapped

• Exam fee NIL + On-line processing fee Rs. 25/- 
• Total = Rs. 25/-

① Preliminary Examination
1. Paper-I: General Studies (Objective Type)
Time- Two hours.

2. Paper-II: General Studies (Objective Type)
Time- Two hours.
Questions - 200
Marks- 200

② Mains Examination
Time for each paper: 3 hours
1. General Hindi (150 marks)
2. Essay (150 marks)
3. General Studies [First Paper] (200 marks)
4. General Studies [Second Paper] (200 marks)
5. General Studies [Third Paper] (200 marks)

6. General Studies [Fourth Paper] (200 mark)
7. Optional Subject (200 marks)

③ Personality Test (Viva-voce)
