- Demonetisation - to officially stop using particular notes or coins, or a particular currency
- Deflationary - causing prices and the level of economic activity to become lower or to stop increasing
- High-denomination - high value (especially money)
- Impact - an effect, or an influence
- Contours - an outline representing or bounding the shape or form of something
- Probably - as far as one knows or can tell
- Manifested - to show something clearly
- Deceleration - to happen or make something happen more slowly
- Retail - relating to the sale of goods directly to the public for their own use
- Inflation - an economic process in which prices increase so that money becomes less valuable

- Gauge - to make a judgment about something
