WASHINGTON — A woman from Kuwait has filed a lawsuit against Disney, claiming that the story idea of the blockbuster film 'Frozen' was hers.
Muneefa Abdullah has asserted that she had penned a book titled 'New Fairy Tales,' containing a short story 'The Snow Princess,' which has the plot of "true love conquers evil," the central theme in Oscar winning animated feature, TMZ.com reported.
She added that her story and the Disney has a lot of similarities as well, including a princess with magical ice powers, using which she can turn people and objects into ice, just like main character Elsa.
Abdullah is demanding money as compensation from the studio.
