Let's face it — reality TV queen Rakhi Sawant is any hashtagger's dream. The loudmouthed Marathi actress from Mumbai has earned a reputation for deriving the most ostentatious theories about trending controversies.
Sawant made a name for herself on television after appearing on the reality show Bigg Boss, an Indian version of the popular Big Brother. Since then she's hosted her own vigilante show Rakhi Ka Insaaf and chosen a husband (whom she did not marry) on the show Rakhi Ka Swayamvar — an Indian take on the Bachelorette.
To her credit, Sawant is also the only actress from the Hindi film industry who has defied taboos and openly spoken about her cosmetic surgeries. "Why not improve on what God forgot to give?" she once quipped during a TV show. Sawant has often made unintentionally hilarious statements.
Here are some samples.
The time when she knew the All India Backchod were cheated:
The time when she confessed her love for Virat Kohli:
The time when she commented on 'PK' poster and said, "Aamir you rocks!":
The time she formed her own political party:
And of course, the one where she wanted to marry Prime Minister Narendra Modi:
