The one word that's creating all the buzz in the group and revolving sll around !!

However , a very Good Morning , to all of you !!

Working comes Complimentary to Salary , as you all would know !!

I mean , We all work for that one thing - SALARY !!

You accept it or not , but that's the human truth. Many would boast that they are working for experience only , and just for this and that , but ultimately at the end of the day , you will find that for that same person , the Salary Quotient is as important as any other Person.

So , here I Would like to shed some light on your salary and illustrate the hierarchy followed in TCS.

Note : Please don't be tantalised by knowing about the Salary , since I can presumably tell you in the very beginning , that as freshers , you don't get that much of a considerable hike in TCS.

Coming to the talking point , to start with :

As you all know all you people will be joining TCS as an Assistant Systems Engineer ( Trainee ).

The package offered to you would be around Rs 3, 16, 000 approximately.

The salary that you will get in your first year will be as :

ILP without accommodation - 17771

ILP with accommodation - Rs 13500

Post ILP - 22700

N.B - All the above payments have foud coupons of Rs 500 included , which is optional.

In addition to the above salary mentioned , you will be getting around 1600 per quarter as Performance Variable Pay , considering you are in a project .

If you are in bench , this allowance won't be given.

After completing one year in TCS , you will get a confirmation rating , which will reciprocate your salary or package.

Hence your post will change to ASE only.

Depending on the rating you get , the package will proportionally be fixed.

For e.g - A person getting a Rating of 3 will have an increment of Rs 27000.

And going further above , there is a different of Rs 10000 as we speak of Rating 4 or 5.

Every year in the month of March , H2 Bands are released .

Again you will get some rating from the project you are working , and consequently your package will vary.

This will happen every year.

Note - You must be working in a project or must have worked for a single day in any project to get your confirmation in TCS.

But you need not bother about that , since this is the responsibility of the RMG to tag you in a project.

After completing 2 years in TCS , you will be Systems Engineer .

There will again be a confirmation for you and hike simultaneously.

After you have become a systems Engineer , you will be vying to become an ITA , which traditionally happens to be in 4 years.

This change in your hierarchical post , will bring about some significant and considerable increment in your salary.

The rest of the senior management hierarchy, you will better understand once you have joined TCS .
